Founding an Organisation

Founding an Organisation

Psycho-spiritual health is a huge growth area that is yet not yet been fully understood or explored and provisions of health care and support are not adequately provided for through the existing healthcare channels in the United Kingdom in ways that are more meaningful to suffers of spiritual health related problems such as Kundalini.

I would like to consider founding or growing this into an organisation if the time is right in order to establish a research or support organisation under the same or a similar name and I’ve considered the EVA Institute of Psycho Spiritual Health as one possible name.

If this were to become an organisation it might be necessary to be founded on the basis of a not for profit charitable organisation in order to avoid conflicts of interest. I don’t have much experience with establishing or operating an organisation, something that would eventually require the recruiting of a necessary team of people, both to manage, develop and train a team and seeing to day to day needs and smooth running of such an organisation.

I am yet to fully explore the potential of what such an organisation might offer and how it would deliver any services, however, such an organisation that has the capacity to offer support to individuals who have experienced spiritual trauma in the form of either distance services or consultation style clinic might be desirable to facilitate helping people heal and recover from a range of problems. If direct support services are not provided I do also like the sound and idea of a Psycho-Spiritual Health and Research Institute, however the scope of this is much larger and much further down the line and very much dependent upon funds and income from any of my writing. This is not as unrealistic or unheard of, as it may sound, as a mystic by the name of Rudolf Steiner eventually established Steiner House in London and an anthropsophical system of education still existing to this day.

An ambitious project like this would only be possible through the further collaboration of the right people, skills and motivations. Ultimately it would either require securing government funding or become self-funding through large scale public donations as I simply don’t have the ability to pay salary expectations for what I believe is necessary for successfully establishing and recruiting the right team that comes with realistic salary and career expectations in this emerging area of healthcare.

Growing the website

This small blog has both the potential to grow and become a much larger and much more polished website containing resources to help the international community. I would like to expand and re-developing the website in the future if I am able to self-fund or secure funding for this project. For an idea of what it could become, please check out the website Mad In America.

There might be possible roles or skills shortages in the areas of:

  • Skills in language translation
  • Article authoring, editing and copywriting
  • Article authors and contributors
  • Peer group discussion, moderation and administration staff
  • Media and social media and marketing

The present website, its offerings, resources and branding would be re-developed to bring it into alignment with future expectations.

If you have an interest in one of these areas please feel free to send me a message through the contact page and I can take down your interest and details and make a note to follow up you in the future at the appropriate time.

Whilst I’m interested in exploring the potential for founding such an organisation, I’m not interested in public relations, press or media communications which would be desirable for someone to take on. However, I would expect to be able to provide or continue some of the knowledge basis, topics and research which might act as a spark or catalyst for discussion and a debate as it relates to the wider umbrella of mental health as it is presently related to understanding, recognition and ranges of treatment. This is something I would envision to have a long future so I would certainly be looking to pass it on to someone else through a board of directors.

If you also interested in this project area or becoming part of such an organisation or team of people responsible for forming such an organisation, please feel free to network with or contact me from LinkedIn and I’ll add you to a list of potential people along with your skills, expertise or specialisations and areas you would like to assist or contribute in.

If you would like to learn more about me personally in relation to spiritual health please explore my biography or add me on the LinkedIn network.
